Simple and Scrumptuous

This is a sure-fire winner of an appetizer. Do this the night before: Marinate 1/2 pound large shrimp (26-30 per lb., shelled, deveined, and blotted dry) in a mixture of 2 1/4 teaspoons sugar, l teaspoon salt, 5 tablespoons lime juice, and 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh cilantro leaves. That's it! Serve it plain or with cocktail sauce. Tip: Be sure to let the shrimp to marinate long enough for those fabulous flavors to penetrate! Your guests will be impressed.
